Past Events

Product Operating Model with Kathryn

Kathryn from Brainmates joined us online to speak to us about her experiences with the product operating model. She expanded on what works and what doesn't, there's no one size fits all.

Product's love and hate relationship with Agile

Ben spoke about the dynamic relationship between Product and Agile. Similar to sibling relationship at times there's tension but ultimately you couldn't imagine your life without them.

Falling into product with guest speaker Mel Clarke

Mel transitioned from a mechanical fitter role to maintenance planning team leader to eventually a product owner role within the maintenance planning squad. In spite of her experience, she still refers to herself as "not a product owner." It was evident to the team that Mel showed traits of a talented product owner through her humbleness, ability to connect with people, willingness to fail and commitment to the solution and its impact on others.
